Pietrastornina Sunset Drive

This photo was taken on a sunset drive riding towards our farm stay in Pietrastornina, a very small town in the middle of Italy. We only had one night there, so our host Mattia had to show us everything in an evening. Everything from the pigs, donkeys, the one random pony and the cow that tried to lick our faces. The flear idden barn cats led us around the property and Mattia pulled fresh figs from the branch for us to eat. I said I was a vegetarian, but when we entered the meat drying room and cut prosciutto fresh from the source, I had to try it.
